Flat Ribbon Crimping Tool
Product Overview
Sturdy tool with steel frame construction and
cushioned handle grips. Great for short run projects. It crimps IDC-type
connectors ranging in size from 0.24" to 1.08" (6.00mm to 27.5mm)
Operating Instructions
- Insert flat cable into IDC connector
- Place assembled IDC connector onto yellow plastic
adaptor.
- Depending on the height and width of connector,
crimping tool can be used either with of without the yellow adaptor.
Adaptor can be used with:
- 6mm (0.236") wide connectors;
- 10mm (0.393") wide connectors.
- Squeeze handles until the connector is crimped.
